Welcome

Hello and welcome to The Loft Creative Play Studio! We are located about 20 miles North of Pittsburgh, Pa. in Zelienople. Our studio doors opened this summer to welcome creative play groups, classes, camps and workshops for young children. The Loft offers our visitors a colorful and inviting environment filled with multiple sensory and process art experiences. Our studio has been carefully designed to ensure that the children have a space where they can move about freely while embracing the process of self-expression.

Some of the materials the children can experiment with while spending time at The Loft are as follows:

About Us

We are Kate and Sandy and will both be present at each and every class that is offered at The Loft. We have been teaching Pre School together at a NAEYC Accredited school here in Pittsburgh for 15 years. We both have our PA State Clearances. In addition to working as educators, we created and implemented Creative Play Camps for children to have an opportunity to use their imaginations while creating freely with their friends. Focusing on the process rather than the product causes the children to feel so confident and proud of their work. We love putting together “ invitations to play” and fun sensory experiences for them enjoy. We believe these experiences are crucial for child development! This passion we have for creative play is how our studio came to be!! We hope you will check out our schedule and come visit us at The Loft!
